Our latest release to the LiveIntent platform brings with it one of the largest and most important features since our initial release: a brand new reporting system.
In place of our legacy reporting, we’re providing you with a newer, cleaner reporting interface that is built directly into the LFM platform. Don’t worry. Any pushed email reports that you currently receive will be unaffected by the change and will continue to be delivered as they have in the past.
We recommend taking some time to explore the new system and get acquainted!
Here are some useful tips to get you started:
1. Accessing Reporting
After logging into your LiveIntent account, you can access the new interface by clicking on “Analysis” in the navigation bar and then clicking on “Reporting – Beta”.
2. Splitting a Report
The first thing you’ll see at the top of the reporting page is a section called “Splits”. This determines the “dimension” your report will be broken down by.
For example, if you were to split a report by the “Template ID” dimension, the data for each of your templates will be broken out into a separate row of the report.
If you chose “Size”, the data will be broken out into all the different ad sizes that have run in your templates.
3. Filtering a Report
Further down the page you’ll see “Filters”. For more granular reporting, click on “Add/Remove Additional Filters” to see a full list of available filters, which covers every split dimension. Add as many filters as you want, but remember that adding inexact filters will increase the margin of error in the data.
4. Reporting API
For those of you that need direct, programmatic access to your data, we’re releasing a brand new version of our reporting API as Beta that provides full access to all the data available through the user interface for Publishers. Please contact your LiveIntent Account Manager for further details regarding the API.
5. The Future
Over the next few months, we’ll be making substantial updates to this new system. Among the new features will be:
– Breakdown of metrics based on devices and browsers used by your subscribers
– The ability to save and schedule reports to be sent to you via email
5. Now Go Break It!
Seriously. Since this is still a “beta” launch, we want you to play around and break as much as you can! All we ask that you report any bugs you may find with the new system via the Bug Report Tool.
This can be accessed by clicking on the question mark on the right side of the navigation bar.
