Our first use case for LiveAudience comes from a luxury retailer who wanted to promote their trunk shows.
For those of you who aren’t professional consumers like me, a “trunk show” is an event in the fashion industry in which designers present new merchandise directly to customers and/or store personnel. For instance, a bridal salon might have a trunk show to feature a particular designer’s collection for the upcoming season in an attempt to secure early sales.
In this case, our luxury retail client was looking to reach their existing customers with an ad for their events.
For the campaign, the luxury retail client provided us with the hashed versions of the email addresses (the process of hashing anonymizes the email address and ensures privacy) of their known shoppers, along with their ad creative. With those hashes in our platform, we were able to serve the client’s ad to those particular subscribers when we saw a match of that hash across the 4500+ newsletters containing our ad tags.
The results? Our client raised their click-to-conversion rate to 17x their standard campaign and they saw 5x the conversions at an 88% lower price compared to their non-LiveAudience campaigns. Success! Download the full case study here.
