LiveIntent Feature Update: KVP Reporting

LiveIntent Feature Update: KVP Reporting

Key-Value Pairs + Reporting: It’s better when they’re together.

Using Key-Value Pairs, or KVPs, you can define your own targeting criteria based on first-party data specific to your subscribers or newsletters (for example, registration information collected from your users or their most recent search topic on your site). Similar to display advertising, you can use key-value pairs to dynamically pass custom information to your LiveTags that can then be used for targeting.

Using KVP Reporting becomes especially useful when you’re running campaigns on audience groups or demographics that are specific to your industries (like music concerts and travel destinations), which is why we’re excited to announce the launch of KVP reporting in the LiveIntent platform!

Software Engineer Tanner Burke shares more: “While KVP targeting has been available in the LiveIntent platform, we’ve heard requests from our customers about the benefit of having a corresponding KVP reporting tool, to be able to see client-specific key-value pairs. We think customers will be excited about the first iteration of the tool is now available, with many more updates coming soon.”

Creating a KVP Report in the LiveIntent Platform

Creating a report shouldn’t feel like it requires an advanced degree. Check out the steps in this LiveIntent Knowledge Base document on how to create a KVP report.

Please note: Due to the nature of multiple keys being part of the same impression, these KVP reports contain overlapping data across keys and paired values, and will not tie out with total impressions and other aggregated events.

What’s coming up next

Below, you can check out what’s available in this version of KVP Reporting, as well as what’s coming up in the future. As always, please reach out to your LiveIntent customer success team with any questions!
