Last Saturday, with the excitement of spring around the corner, LiveIntent was happy to participate in the Spring event coordinated by New York Cares. New York Cares is a non-profit that mobilizes volunteers to help with projects that help New York City at large. Everything from coat drives to mentoring programs, New York Cares exists to serve our fellow New Yorker and we were excited to be part of it.
So on a sunny and warm April day, a group of devoted LiveIntent folks woke up bright and early to make their way to Flushing Meadows to show some love to a semi-neglected part of the park. Shovels, hoes and garbage bags in hand, we came together to get our hands dirty cleaning up weeds and dried up plants in front of the Aquatic Center. We must have filled almost a hundred garbage bags! But we didn’t do it alone. We had good company working the fields with the likes of MediaMath, Yext, Dstillery and Analytics Media Group also putting in some time to show their support for New York City. Just shows that there are a lot of solid folks that really care about the city we live in and we’re great at having fun while doing it.
Thanks to Megan Towe for organizing and all the LiveIntent folks for making the day such a success!
