I wanted to take a moment to announce publicly that, in a few months, our COO and one of our earliest business partners Jerry Sandoval will be leaving to go back to being an entrepreneur and CEO.
Jerry and I have been friends for nearly 20 years. Together, we have explored and worked to find a smarter way to market and advertise in email.
We’re moving into a new era of LiveIntent. We’ve been rewarded with great funding and we’ve had the good fortune to release products that are resonating with our public: brands and advertisers looking to leverage our platform and the anonymized email address to meet the cross-device challenge. We are making significant investments in our Products and our Engineering. By making this investment, we’ll be setting ourselves up to continue our torrid pace of hypergrowth.
Jerry was a seasoned CEO and Founder before he agreed to come work for LiveIntent, and he’s going back to it. I’ve already told him, I’ll jump at the chance to be his first investor. He’ll be sorely missed. We couldn’t have achieved what we’ve achieved without his guidance, his insight, his counsel and his leadership. Jerry will continued to be involved with LiveIntent and will be staying on as an advisor.
This move is the right move, and in the long term is the right decision for Jerry and for LiveIntent. That doesn’t make it any easier, but we move forward better for having Jerry played such an integral role in our continued success.
